Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must take and pass all required training courses and continuous assessments
Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification
Must understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
Must have 1-2 years experience in a similar position
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach above shoulder level
Must be comfortable working in environments with extreme hot or cold temperatures
Must be able to lift or carry up to 40 lbs
Must maintain a high level of personal cleanliness

Job Qualifications

Food Handlers Certification or willingness to obtain
Understanding of OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
1-2 years experience in a similar or like position
Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility in schedule
Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene
Physical capability to meet job demands

Job Duties

Prepare meals quickly, efficiently, and accurately according to Hawkers Asian Street Food standards
Take and pass all required training courses and continuous training
Follow standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits
Communicate with team members and leadership regarding order status and product availability
Wash and clean raw food products
Use full timed cycles on fryers and maintain proper fryer operation
Follow QR's and Jolt system processes
Rotate products according to First In, First Out to maintain shelf-life standards
Log and discard products not used by end of shift
Maintain proper par stock levels and minimize product waste
Perform routine, repetitive tasks under leadership direction
Clean work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
Ensure proper food waste disposal
Maintain standards for food production, handling, sanitation, and safety
Assist in training new and part-time staff
Clean food preparation and production areas
Show schedule flexibility and fill in as needed
Maintain personal cleanliness
Be a supportive team player
Perform other duties as assigned
