Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years' professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar establishment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in English
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be organized, motivating, and personable

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years' professional cooking experience in a restaurant or establishment of similar caliber
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • organized and motivating with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of reservation management systems highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee assigned areas of culinary production and work service
  • execute recipes precisely while maintaining quality standards
  • maintain kitchen equipment ensuring cleanliness and optimal function
  • apply working knowledge of basic cooking techniques such as measuring, knife skills, sautéing, grilling, roasting, and poaching
  • ensure consistent preparation and serving of food according to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
  • manage time effectively to be punctual and dependable
  • collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
