Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of professional culinary experience
  • active food handler's certification or ability to obtain one
  • availability to work flexible shifts including day, night, and weekends
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
  • passion for culinary arts and commitment to quality
  • positive and energetic attitude

Job Duties

  • Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking methods including grill, sauté, and fry
  • use knives and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • read and recreate recipes accurately
  • maintain consistency in all food preparation
  • minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • work collaboratively with culinary leadership to create seasonal menus
  • prepare workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • chop and peel vegetables and cut meat
  • maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
  • ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients
  • uphold quality standards for all ingredients used
