Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- at least two years of previous experience as a Line Cook or Carver
- current local/state Food Handler's Training Certification
- ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
- ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs
- able to work weekends and holidays
- excellent knife skills
- basic math proficiency
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physically capable of performing job functions
- must wear required uniform
- able to follow instructions
- basic computer skills

- ability to use knife and carve meat properly

- above average knife skills

- at least two years of experience as a Line Cook or Carver in a high-end dining establishment
- current local or state Food Handler's Training Certification
- basic familiarity with computers and calculators
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- some college or culinary education beneficial
Job Duties
- Collaborate with Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and improve menu items
- prepare and cook food for guests and co-workers
- comply with food safety handling policies
- maintain a clean and hygienic work area
- portion meats, fish, and produce as needed
- operate cooking and preparation equipment safely
- follow portion control and inventory maintenance procedures
- communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
- receive and inspect deliveries
- stock beef cart for meal periods
- ensure tools and equipment are in good condition
- perform food carving and plate service
- operate the Posi ordering system efficiently
- expedite guest food orders quickly and accurately
