Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience cooking in a restaurant
  • understanding of cooking methods and knife handling skills
  • ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail of dishes
  • ability to read and follow kitchen instructions
  • must be organized and self-motivated
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred
  • be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to recreate recipes per Hash Kitchen standards
  • knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
  • willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
  • knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Hash Kitchen recipes
  • set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
  • arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Hash Kitchen guidelines
  • properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • adhere to Hash Kitchen safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
