Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience cooking in a restaurant
- understanding of cooking methods and knife handling skills
- ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail of dishes
- ability to read and follow kitchen instructions
- must be organized and self-motivated
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods
- capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred
- be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
- ability to recreate recipes per Hash Kitchen standards
- knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
- willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
- knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Hash Kitchen recipes
- set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Hash Kitchen guidelines
- properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- adhere to Hash Kitchen safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
- perform other duties as assigned by management
