Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- current Food Handler's Permit
- previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
- ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- effective communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- must be able to follow food safety guidelines
- must be detail-oriented and organized
- ability to work well independently and as part of a team

- passion for preparing, cooking, and eating good food
- current Food Handler's Permit
- ability to read and follow recipes
- basic math skills for adjusting recipes

Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all kitchen products and services
- clean and sanitize the kitchen daily to meet company standards
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products
- deliver excellent customer service
- cook and fry all hot foods for the kitchen
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes
- prepare pizzas including assembling and baking
- use kitchen equipment to prepare meats, fruits, and vegetables
- assemble and package to-go soups, salads, dips, and sandwiches
- prepare sauces for wok bar recipes
- document food safety temperatures
- assist with cleaning dishes and dish room
- receive and stock products properly
- assist with overall kitchen success
