Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant
  • Understanding of kitchen methods and procedures and knife skills
  • Ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow kitchen instructions
  • Be organized and have self-initiative
  • Required to ascend and descend stairs
  • Sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state
  • Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair ability to perform essential functions

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • 4+ years of line cook experience preferred
  • Be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recreate recipes per Hash Kitchen standards
  • Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
  • Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Hash Kitchen recipes
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Hash Kitchen guidelines
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Adhere to Hash Kitchen safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
