Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of cooking or food preparation experience
- ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
- capable of lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds regularly
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- ability to communicate effectively with team members

Job Qualifications

- previous experience in a professional kitchen environment

Job Duties
- Arrive promptly to ensure the station is never left unattended
- assess prep-list to fully stock and guarantee freshness
- maintain hotel standards of quality and presentation
- handle customer orders in a timely and quality-minded manner
- follow every order ensuring special preparations are considered
- prioritize customer satisfaction while balancing hotel interests
- clarify unclear orders with wait staff and report issues to supervisor
- bring concerns about freshness or recipe execution to chef's attention
- clean and secure station and wrap food tightly at shift end
- communicate supplies needed for the next day to supervisor
- wash hands between tasks and use gloves properly
- maintain personal hygiene including clean nails and hair
- carry and use sanitizer to clean workbench between tasks
- report potential health concerns, faulty equipment, and food shortages to supervisor
- be mindful and safe handling sharp or heavy objects
- ask for help with heavy items using proper lifting techniques
- work in controlled movements and never run in kitchen
- keep supervisor informed of all significant problems
- perform duties efficiently in accordance with policies
- maintain positive relationships with coworkers
- adhere to attendance, dress code, and safety protocols
- project a favorable image of Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel at all times
