Job Requirements

  • Meet state and local requirements for food handler’s certification
  • Obtain certification by first day or within location required timeline
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours
  • Able to stand for several hours
  • Able to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
  • Able to lift push pull or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests' needs with high sense of urgency
  • Ability to have fun

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
  • Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming maintaining the right texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
  • Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on grill fryer sauté and steam stations according to recipes and standards
  • Monitor quality and presentation of each dish ensuring every taco meets company standards before reaching guest
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
  • Work closely with other back of house team members to ensure timely and correct preparation contributing to smooth kitchen operation
  • Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients ensuring kitchen set up for success before and during service
  • Operate with a sense of urgency during busy periods to keep up with guest demand while maintaining quality and presentation
