- knowledge of basic knife skills, chopping, sautéing, grilling and food prep

Job Duties
- prepare food to the executive chef's specifications as well as assisting kitchen staff with daily tasks
- work independently to support Amuse kitchen team with prep and line cook duties as instructed by chefs
- cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff ensuring timely service
- support chefs and kitchen staff with projects, inventories, deliveries, kitchen maintenance and cleaning
- maintain a clean, sanitary and safe working environment
- report accidents, issues or policy violations to kitchen leadership
- support the museum's commitment to customer service and quality products
- flexibly shift between Amuse menu preparations and other kitchen tasks as needed
- help prepare foods for Best Café, Special Events and Floris when directed
