Job Requirements
- Minimum two years professional cooking experience
- ability to demonstrate proficiency in professional knife-handling skills
- experience in stir fry, deep frying, grilling, roasting, steaming, cold food production, and garnishing
- ability to follow standardized recipes and measure ingredients accurately
- experience organizing and maintaining kitchen workstations
- ability to prioritize work and execute tasks quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment
- ability to work independently and part of a team
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate in English
- accurate math skills
- maintain professional appearance and hygiene
- reliable transportation and attendance
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook various food items including omelets and gourmet burgers
- follow established recipes and maintain production records
- accurately prepare customer orders and handle special requests
- maintain high sanitary and safety standards adhering to HACCP and NY State Health guidelines
- clean and maintain kitchen equipment
- assist in training new hires and student workers
- perform high volume prep work and use knife skills to prepare recipes
- general cleaning and other food service duties as assigned
