Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort
- Safe serve certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and day and night shifts
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Good understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort

- Experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene
- Passionate about culinary arts and creative cooking

- Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
- Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Job Duties
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
- prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods
- Must be able to expedite tickets in timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
