Job Requirements

  • Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
  • Demonstrated full service restaurant cooking experience
  • Able to follow written recipes and order tickets
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen line
  • Ensure proper food rotation, labeling and sanitation
  • Monitor inventory and keep the line stocked throughout the shift
  • Adhere to health code and safety regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members
  • Manage time efficiently to maintain speed and accuracy during service
