Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a line cook in a restaurant or professional kitchen
- Passionate about food quality and presentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work extended shifts for culinary photoshoots
- Food handlers certification
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach regularly
- Visual acuity to read labels, packing slips, product literature, computer screens, and inspect goods for defects
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, hours 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Ability to work in a factory setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a line cook in a restaurant or other commercial kitchen, preferably with experience in presentation
- Passionate about internal hospitality and supporting a positive culture
- Keen eye and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work extended shifts as necessary to support culinary photoshoots
- Food handlers certification
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to guidelines to support eko's employee population
- Create and cook a selection of meals to meet various dietary needs
- Create a great employee experience through food
- Cook and prepare a variety of foods that will be used in culinary photoshoots
- Maintain a high level of presentation standard to meet photoshoot requirements
- Maintain and foster a positive kitchen culture
- Maintain safe use of all kitchen equipment including knives
- Strictly adhere to all food safety policies and procedures and food storage regulations
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen
