Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years culinary experience in full-service resort, hotel, country club, or full-service restaurant
  • experience cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • familiarity with food safety standards
  • ability to work approximately 14 hours per day
  • strong multitasking and team collaboration skills
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • problem-solving, organizational, and self-motivation abilities
  • proficiency in reading and following cooking recipes
  • leadership and effective time management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to pass pre-employment drug test
  • ability to pass criminal background check

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Work directly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to produce diversified meals based on fresh ingredients
  • organize workload in the kitchen to ensure efficient kitchen processes
  • produce high-quality dishes that follow established menu choices
  • adhere to all guests’ dietary requests
  • maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during work hours
  • ensure hygiene and food safety standards are prioritized throughout all stages of food preparation
  • ensure all meals are prepared as quickly and deliciously as possible
  • enforce food and safety standards
  • maintain clear communication with coworkers during all meal services
