Job Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience in a high-volume environment
  • strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • commitment to following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience in a high-volume environment required
  • multi-station experience a plus
  • strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and physically demanding environment
  • excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
  • Safe Food Handler certification preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and measuring
  • set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift
  • cook menu items accurately and efficiently according to recipes and presentation standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout service
  • label and store all food products properly after each shift
  • follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • assist with training new kitchen team members as requested
  • communicate equipment or supply needs to management promptly
  • perform other duties as requested by management
