Job Duties
- develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté and fry)
- experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
- recreate recipes consistently
- minimize food waste through cross utilization
- work with culinary leadership team to create menus
- prepare ingredients by chopping, peeling, and cutting
- maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
- ensure proper storage of food and ingredients
- be responsible for ingredient quality
