Job Requirements

  • Cooking experience required
  • high school diploma preferred
  • maintain a positive and customer service focused attitude
  • be self-directed and able to both give and receive direction clearly
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to climb stairs
  • ability to lift, pull, or push items up to 50 pounds
  • early day availability for brunch service
  • availability to work weekends and some nights

Job Duties

  • Handle the cooking of delicious dishes in the kitchen
  • perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients according to recipes
  • prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and cutting meat
  • undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces and parboiling food
  • prepare dishes for service
  • label and stock all ingredients on shelves to ensure organization and easy accessibility
  • perform other duties as assigned by manager
