- Knowledge of back-of-house equipment use including stoves, ovens, refrigerators, slicers, knives, and dish machines
- Ability to observe and distinguish product quality by smell, taste, and appearance
Job Duties
- Set up designated station with all necessary components for service
- Prepare food for service to specification from proprietary recipes
- Cook in coordination with other cooks to ensure proper timing on tickets
- Put away orders when necessary
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Be mindful of food costs by eliminating waste and making orders correctly
- Break down station at end of shift and reset for next day's service
- Create detailed prep list and organize items needed for next day
- Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of outlet areas and equipment
- Follow uniform guidelines and come to work ready to perform duties
- Maintain a safe environment for associates and property
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
