Job Requirements

  • previous restaurant or culinary experience preferred
  • food handler certification required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests in a timely manner
  • stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
  • follow item specifications including preparation, execution, and presentation
  • know and comply consistently with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • prevent spoiling and contamination by implementing proper sanitation practices and ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations
  • maintain a clean station including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saute burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment
  • come to work in a clean, fresh uniform
  • assist in daily cleaning of pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in and prep area
  • report any maintenance or repairs needed to the Chef
  • follow departmental policies and restaurant rules and regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook and by management
