Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- active food handler's certification or ability to get it
- willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work independently
- capable of standing for long periods
- able to lift at least 50 pounds
- at least 21 years of age
- passion for exceeding expectations

Job Duties
- develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods including grill, saute and fry
- use knives and various kitchen equipment
- reach and recreate recipes
- maintain consistency in all food preparation
- minimize food waste through cross utilization
- work with culinary leadership to create menus
- prepare ingredients such as chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
- maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
- ensure proper storage of all food and items
- monitor and maintain quality of ingredients
