Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- proven cooking experience including as a line cook or prep cook
- knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- food handler certification or ability to obtain one
- ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- prepare food for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
- ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift
- comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of service
- communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
