Job Requirements
- one year of prior work experience with griddles as well as food prep
- prepare multiple orders in a safe and efficient manner
- must have ability to use and properly clean a griddle, grinder and deep fryer
- the ability to work in a friendly and effective manner with other team member
- willingness to obtain Serve Safe certification within 30 days of start date
- reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
- strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of menu planning and dietary requirements is a plus
- ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- assist in the preparation of meals for the kitchen and dietary department
- adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- assist with catering events as needed
- maintain a clean and organized work area
