Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand walk bend crouch kneel and reach for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift carry push and pull up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables
- Must be able to safely use a ladder
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests
- Quickly safely and efficiently prepare food in accordance with our preparation and execution standards
- Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability
- Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area including equipment countertops walk-in coolers and storage areas to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels rotating ingredients labeling prep items receiving supplies and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals
- Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed
- Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation at all times
- Follow all safety procedures
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Remove trash safely operate a trash compactor and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area
- Other duties as assigned
