Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- eligible to work in the United States
- physically able to lift 50 pounds up to 20 times per day
- team-oriented with a passion to succeed
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- commitment to adhering to food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one or more years of restaurant cooking or food preparation experience preferred but not required
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to follow recipes and food safety protocols accurately
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily
- passion for food quality and guest satisfaction
- basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- prepare food items consistently according to recipe standards
- maintain a safe working environment by following food handling and safety guidelines
- ensure all food products meet Applebee's quality requirements
- work collaboratively with kitchen staff and team members to meet demand and efficiency goals
- clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment
- assist with inventory management and stock supplies
- uphold company principles of respect, integrity, and cleanliness
