Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- two years progressively responsible culinary experience
- previous hotel background and supervisory experience preferred
- valid Food Handlers Permit
- ability to stand, walk, reach, push, pull, bend, grasp, crouch, carry and lift up to 50 lbs
- availability for variable schedule including weekends and holidays
- compliance with drug free workplace policies
- willingness to adhere to company programs, policies, procedures, and brand standards
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of food and beverage products, preparation and handling techniques
- understanding of health codes, food sanitation and safety practices
- basic mathematical skills for recipe measurements and portion sizes
- principles of customer service and evaluation
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to maintain calm demeanor under pressure
- ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food according to recipes and production guidelines
- adhere to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures
- maintain a neat and clean workstation at all times
- communicate clearly and concisely with team members and management
