Job Requirements

  • Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Occasional bending, lifting, and stretching required
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a line cook or in a similar food preparation role
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and presentation standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a country club or upscale dining environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Preps and stocks all items needed to assemble regular menu selections and weekly Pool Kitchen specials
  • Uses standardized recipes and presentation photos as guidelines to prepare menu items and specials
  • Cross-trains on all Pool Kitchen stations including Pantry, Grill, Flat, Pizza, and Prep
  • Labels and stocks all ingredients on shelves to maintain organization and accessibility
  • Maintains cleanliness of coolers, countertops, fryer, grill, and char-broiler daily
  • Performs utility duties when utility staff is not scheduled
  • Conducts oneself in a proper manner appropriate to the open kitchen environment
