- Food certification certificate as required by state, ServSafe required or in process
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Willingness to work for the best interests of the facility
- Ability to report changes in personal health status to supervisor

Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of related field experience
- Food certification as required by state, ServSafe or in process
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Residential healthcare experience preferred
- CPR and standard first aid certification preferred or in process
- Proficiency in food preparation, regulation compliance and sanitation
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Assist with meal and food preparation
- Maintain sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor and document refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily
- Utilize approved cleaning agents correctly
- Remove trash and waste from kitchen and food storage areas
- Inventory food service items and supplies as directed
