Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic food safety knowledge and culinary skills
- Experience in high-volume kitchens
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely
- Ability to operate company vehicles or golf carts
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Basic understanding of proper food handling procedures including blanching, sautéing, and standard breading
- Intermediate knife skills
- Experience with basic kitchen operations
- Experience working in a high-level, fast-paced kitchen
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Strong communication skills for timely dish delivery coordination
- Knowledge of basic math
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities based on job knowledge and company goals
Job Duties
- Food preparation tasks including basic vegetable preparation, vinaigrettes, salads, stocks, meat fabrication, and sauce making
- Cleaning and maintaining work area and kitchen during and after shifts
- Producing finished dishes during service periods
- Assisting with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries
- Taking direction and following recipes precisely
- Working efficiently in a supervised, team-oriented environment
- Coordinating production tasks over multiple days for smooth station transitions
