Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to safely operate company vehicle or golf cart
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Regular and consistent attendance required
  • Ability to work well with team members managers and guests
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of proper food handling procedures including blanching sauteing and standard breading
  • Intermediate knife skills
  • Basic kitchen operations experience
  • Experience cooking in a high level fast paced kitchen
  • Ability to read and understand recipes
  • Effective communication skills with other cooks
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals

Job Duties

  • Perform food preparation tasks as assigned by Sous Chefs including vegetable prep vinaigrettes salads stocks meat fabrication and sauce making
  • Clean work area and kitchen during and at the end of shift
  • Play a central role in the production of finished dishes during service periods
  • Assist with receiving deliveries to the kitchen
  • Take direction and follow recipes
  • Work in a supervised environment
  • Maintain a steady pace and quicken it as required
  • Coordinate production over multiple days and plan smooth transitions between team members
  • Plan out workday accomplishing multiple tasks
  • Identify basic food products
  • Maintain organized and sanitary work station
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Taste food for quality assurance
