Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or line cooking
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environments
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Capability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
- Current or obtainable food handler's certification
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food prep or line cook roles
- Proficient in kitchen techniques such as chopping, grilling, sautéing, and baking
- Skilled in preparing and serving both hot and cold menu items
- Strong time management skills in fast-paced environments
- Effective team player with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Possession of or ability to obtain a current food handler's certification
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and mixing for various menu items
- Cook, plate, and present dishes ensuring flavor, appearance, and consistency
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items including daily specials
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitization in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory tracking and supply management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and management for smooth service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards including allergen awareness
