Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of food service experience
  • Preferred 2 years of food service experience
  • Ability to follow detailed recipe instructions and dietary restrictions
  • Compliance with food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to perform routine cleaning and maintenance
  • No certification or license required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food preparation for at least one year preferred
  • Ability to follow specific dietary guidelines accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations including HACCP
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety within the work environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Prepare appealing and appetizing foods for patients, cafeteria and catered events
  • Ensure special diet recipes are followed to meet patients' nutritional requirements
  • Follow and comply with recipe guidelines and department operations
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • Complete all HACCP documentation during food preparation
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Perform routine cleaning assignments
