Job Duties

  • Follows Burger Lounge vision, mission and core values to ensure employees and guests leave happier than when they arrived
  • Communicates well with others and uses friendly, respectful and professional language
  • Works well with all employees, respects differences, helps to make others feel included and comfortable
  • Open to feedback, learns from mistakes and takes accountability for actions
  • Prepares food that honors guest requests, restrictions and modifications
  • Ensures onion rings, French fries and salads are prepared correctly and timely
  • Follows hand-washing procedures and kitchen safety practices
  • Uses cut gloves properly when handling knives
  • Loads and runs dishwashing machine regularly and keeps kitchen equipment clean
  • Cleans and sanitizes work surfaces, utensils, and work areas
  • Uses tablets to ensure food prep consistency and meets standards
  • Completes daily prep lists within suggested timelines
  • Labels products accurately
  • Comprehends Burger Lounge recipes and demonstrates knife and kitchen equipment skills
  • Chops cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, slices potatoes, and starts blanching process
  • Prepares sauces and proteins according to standards
  • Maintains inventory for salad and fry stations
  • Reads tickets and times fryer item preparation
  • Maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists with food temperature supervision and food receiving
  • Conducts back-of-house opening and closing tasks
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
