Job Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of professional line cooking experience in a fast casual, high volume restaurant
- Open availability necessary for day and evening shifts
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and customers
- Ability to work under pressure and take constructive criticism
- Excellent knife skills
- Strong communication skills, keep lines of communication open with all coworkers
- Strong understanding of basic cooking methods
- Strong team player who understands that a kitchen cannot operate with just one person
- Self-motivated to grow in your career, hungry to learn more
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Answer and follow the Chefs Team's instructions throughout the shift
- Set up and stock station with necessary supplies in a timely and organized manner
- Take inventory of station's mis en place and perform daily prep list production
- Communicate with Chef's Team to identify additional prep items or duties during the shift
- Prepare food items using techniques such as blending, chopping, slicing, mixing, and pouring
- Cook menu items in coordination with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality service
- Prepare daily specials as determined by Chefs Team
- Read food tickets and prepare assigned menu items using appropriate techniques
- Communicate with wait staff and other stations to expedite guest meals
- Maintain high food quality standards through sight, smell, and taste
- Clean and organize station during and at the end of shift ensuring sanitary conditions
- Display team player attitude by assisting others as needed
