Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to handle kitchen duties
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Basic math skills for portion control
Job Qualifications
- Experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques including grilling, frying, broiling, sautéing
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards precisely
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication skills
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus
Job Duties
- Execute menu recipes accurately for immediate guest service
- Ensure proper plate presentation and portion control
- Manage setup, prep, and stocking of cooking station
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of assigned area
- Operate kitchen equipment including grill, fryer, broiler, oven
- Monitor temperature and cooking times to meet company standards
- Assist in break down and storage procedures after service
