Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • ability to work flexible hours including day and evening shifts
  • capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • must be motivated, energetic, and a hard-working self-starter
  • willingness to follow directions from senior kitchen staff

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
  • curious intelligence to continue learning in the position
  • knowledge of various culinary procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
  • good sense of taste and smell
  • knowledge of a second language is a plus

Job Duties

  • Follow and fulfill the duties given by the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, or senior line cooks
  • keep stations clean and well stocked with the ingredients required to cook the dish that they are asked to prepare
  • enjoy providing great hospitality
  • prepare dishes according to restaurant standards
  • maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • assist in inventory management
