Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience as a line cook or similar role
knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
ability to work early morning hours from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
physical stamina to stand for extended periods
ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a kitchen setting
good communication skills

Job Duties

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
prepare food for service
cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
clean up the station and the kitchen
stock inventory appropriately
ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion
comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
complete temperature logs and checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks
participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed
