Job Requirements

at least 18 years old
previous cooking experience in a fast-casual restaurant a plus
physically required to stand up to 4 hours at a time, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
approximately 99 percent of time spent standing and/or walking
must be able to present State or County mandated Food Handler Card within the time allowed for the specific State or County

ability to learn and follow food safety and preparation guidelines
strong attention to detail and high standards for food quality
good physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
effective communication and teamwork skills
ability to obtain a State or County mandated Food Handler Card within required time

Job Duties

prepare farm fresh menu items according to specifications and high standards
ensure compliance with food safety, portioning, sizing, packaging, and plating standards
support speed of service goals to meet fast-casual restaurant expectations
participate in hands-on training and complete online courses for skill development
maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
stand, walk, bend, and lift as required during shifts
collaborate with team members to deliver excellent guest service
