Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years old
  • previous cooking experience in a fast-casual restaurant a plus
  • physically required to stand up to 4 hours at a time, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • approximately 99 percent of time spent standing and/or walking
  • must be able to present State or County mandated Food Handler Card within the time allowed for the specific State or County

  • ability to learn and follow food safety and preparation guidelines
  • strong attention to detail and high standards for food quality
  • good physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
  • effective communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to obtain a State or County mandated Food Handler Card within required time

Job Duties

  • prepare farm fresh menu items according to specifications and high standards
  • ensure compliance with food safety, portioning, sizing, packaging, and plating standards
  • support speed of service goals to meet fast-casual restaurant expectations
  • participate in hands-on training and complete online courses for skill development
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
  • stand, walk, bend, and lift as required during shifts
  • collaborate with team members to deliver excellent guest service
