Job Duties

  • create and maintain a positive work environment fostering teamwork and professional growth
  • coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
  • communicate effectively with team members during service
  • assist team members as needed to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
  • keep managers informed of any issues or challenges encountered during daily operations and work together to find timely solutions
  • maintain stock levels of product in workstations and storage areas including coolers and dry storage
  • address any issues or concerns related to food quality promptly and effectively
  • develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu including ingredients flavor profiles and preparation techniques
  • prepare food according to standard recipes
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas
  • prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
  • set up station with predetermined required items to service the restaurant
  • familiarize yourself with menu items daily specials and promotions to effective operations
  • perform set up duties to include side stations storage areas and food handling areas
  • prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and customer specifications ensuring plating and presentation match the quality standards
  • perform general cleaning tasks utilizing cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as internal policies and procedures
  • oversee food safety practices including proper storage handling and preparation of food items
