Job Duties
- create and maintain a positive work environment fostering teamwork and professional growth
- coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- communicate effectively with team members during service
- assist team members as needed to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
- keep managers informed of any issues or challenges encountered during daily operations and work together to find timely solutions
- maintain stock levels of product in workstations and storage areas including coolers and dry storage
- address any issues or concerns related to food quality promptly and effectively
- develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu including ingredients flavor profiles and preparation techniques
- prepare food according to standard recipes
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas
- prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
- set up station with predetermined required items to service the restaurant
- familiarize yourself with menu items daily specials and promotions to effective operations
- perform set up duties to include side stations storage areas and food handling areas
- prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and customer specifications ensuring plating and presentation match the quality standards
- perform general cleaning tasks utilizing cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as internal policies and procedures
- oversee food safety practices including proper storage handling and preparation of food items
