Job Requirements
- 1+ years of cooking experience in upscale or fine-dining high volume establishment
- Positive attitude and sense of responsibility and ownership of the position
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills
- Team oriented with strong punctuality and reliability
- Basic understanding of recipe preparation, cooking and knife handling skills
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- Continuous reaching, bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Certified for food service as required by State and Local Agencies

Job Duties
- Prepare dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results
- Know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen practices
- Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- Portion all products, follow recipes and ensure plate presentation is aesthetically pleasing
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Follow safety and sanitation standards, keep workstations clean and organized, and follow food handling standards
- Adhere to food service safety and sanitation guidelines as required by State and Local Agencies
