Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations
- Familiarity with main and satellite kitchens
- Understanding of food sanitation guidelines
- Knowledge of kitchen policies and procedures including opening, closing, shopping and prep lists
- Ability to practice Mis En Place daily
- Ability to execute egg dishes and sandwiches as assigned
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Compliance with safety protocols and food handling practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ethical behavior and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position desired
- Culinary training a plus
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Work collaboratively with front and back of house teams to ensure compliance with quality, presentation, and portion control standards
- Adhere to proper handling, HACCP, labeling, and storage protocols for all foods and relevant food service regulations
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a culture of safety
- Maintain documentation of temperature charts and records
- Maintain open communication and professional relationships with all community departments and support teams
- Actively participate in planning and production meetings
- Attend and participate in required in-service training and education programs
- Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Chef or Director of Dining Services
