Job Requirements
- Full availability including daytime, evening hours, and weekends
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in warm to hot kitchen environments
- Compliance with health department requirements for food safety and hygiene
- Passing a reference and background check
- Ability to perform shift change or opening and closing duties
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of kitchen experience preferably in fine dining
- Ability to read and follow recipes and standards
- Experience training kitchen employees
- Strong knowledge of health department requirements and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests
- Commitment to teamwork and continuous learning
- Basic understanding of culinary skills with a willingness to develop further
Job Duties
- Uphold and role model the company’s principles of People, Place, and Character while embodying values that drive collaboration, intuitive service, and translocal hospitality
- Collaborate with culinary leadership demonstrating a united commitment to guest experience
- Prepare food adhering to recipes, presentation standards, and guest preferences
- Work in an organized fashion respecting ingredients, equipment, and workspace
- Demonstrate professional urgency while maintaining technique to deliver exceptional food quality
- Engage in daily line ups and quarterly culinary meetings for open communication and feedback
- Report any substandard physical facilities or equipment conditions to the Chef de Cuisine
