Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of high-volume kitchen experience
- Food Handler certification
- Ability to work with griddle and fryer equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain standards

- Knowledge of restaurant prep and cooking methods
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Supervisory experience or progressive management (preferred)
Job Duties
- Prep according to the daily or weekly par
- Cook and package batches of food such as hamburgers prepared to order or kept warm until sold
- Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer working on several different orders simultaneously
- Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food requirements and prepare and cook food according to instructions
- Measure ingredients required for specific food items
- Wash cut and prepare foods designated for cooking
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment including deep-fat fryers or griddles
- Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases
- Participate in pre-shift meetings for instructions
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with management and coworkers
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards
- Additional duties as needed by the position
