Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- have a love for food and an eye for detail with cooking, including knowing weights, measurements, and volumes
- comfortable standing for extended periods of time
- able to lift up to 30 lbs
- ability to continuously bend, reach and twist
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- flexibility to work various shifts
- able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience is not required
- ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
- current Food Handler’s Card where applicable or willingness to obtain
- excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- knowledge of all chemicals used in the building
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment
- flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
- plate prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
- responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils when necessary
- uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- follow all company policies and procedures regarding food handling and safety
