Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • have a love for food and an eye for detail with cooking, including knowing weights, measurements, and volumes
  • comfortable standing for extended periods of time
  • able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • ability to continuously bend, reach and twist
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • flexibility to work various shifts
  • able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience is not required
  • ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
  • current Food Handler’s Card where applicable or willingness to obtain
  • excellent customer service skills and etiquette
  • knowledge of all chemicals used in the building
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment
  • flexibility to work a variety of shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
  • plate prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
  • responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
  • assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils when necessary
  • uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
  • collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • follow all company policies and procedures regarding food handling and safety
