Job Duties

  • Create and maintain a positive work environment fostering teamwork and professional growth
  • coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
  • communicate effectively with team members during service
  • assist team members as needed to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
  • keep managers informed of any issues or challenges during daily operations and work together to find solutions
  • maintain stock levels in workstations and storage areas including coolers and dry storage
  • address any food quality concerns promptly and effectively
  • develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu including ingredients, flavor profiles, and preparation techniques
  • prepare food according to standard recipes
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas
  • prepare food items using quality predetermined methods in a timely and consistent manner
  • set up station with required items to service the restaurant
  • familiarize with menu items, daily specials, and promotions
  • perform set up duties including side stations, storage areas, and food handling areas
  • assemble menu items according to recipes and customer specifications ensuring presentation matches quality standards
  • perform general cleaning tasks adhering to health and safety standards
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies
  • oversee food safety practices including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items
