Job Duties
- Create and maintain a positive work environment fostering teamwork and professional growth
- coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- communicate effectively with team members during service
- assist team members as needed to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
- keep managers informed of any issues or challenges during daily operations and work together to find solutions
- maintain stock levels in workstations and storage areas including coolers and dry storage
- address any food quality concerns promptly and effectively
- develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu including ingredients, flavor profiles, and preparation techniques
- prepare food according to standard recipes
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas
- prepare food items using quality predetermined methods in a timely and consistent manner
- set up station with required items to service the restaurant
- familiarize with menu items, daily specials, and promotions
- perform set up duties including side stations, storage areas, and food handling areas
- assemble menu items according to recipes and customer specifications ensuring presentation matches quality standards
- perform general cleaning tasks adhering to health and safety standards
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies
- oversee food safety practices including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items
