Job Requirements

  • Experience in full service restaurant including working fryer, grill and or flat top
  • Two or more years of line cook experience preferred
  • Experience cooking saute items to temperature preferred
  • Understanding of cooking basic methods, ingredients, and equipment
  • Ability to carry 10 to 15 pounds up and down stairs frequently
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds up and down stairs infrequently
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods up to 8 hours with repetitive motions
  • Flexible schedule
  • Self motivated and task driven

  • Experience cooking saute items to temperature preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to exact chefs specifications
  • Chop vegetables, butcher meat, and prepare sauces and vinaigrettes
  • Assist with menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
  • Operate fryer, grill, and flat top stations
  • Cook saute items like steak and salmon to temperature
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • Follow safety and sanitation standards
