Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous high volume culinary experience
- Certification in safe food handling
- Ability to work in a fast paced high energy environment
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Physical endurance for standing walking and working in hot conditions
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous high volume culinary experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high energy physically demanding environment
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
- Ability to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Willingness to work varying schedules including days nights holidays and weekends
- Capability to stand and or walk for extended periods
- Ability to withstand wet floors and high temperatures
- Frequent hand washing and or wearing gloves
- Safe food handler's certification
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for service including chopping portioning mixing
- Set up and stock stations with all supplies
- Clean up station and label items for proper storage
- Work quickly and efficiently to ensure timely and efficient delivery to each table
- Stock and re-stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with health and sanitation regulations
- Assist management in training new staff members within their department when applicable
- Communicate to store management all job functions need
- Perform other duties as requested by management
