Job Duties

  • Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods such as grill, sauté and fry
  • Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
  • Recreate recipes consistently
  • Maintain consistent food preparation standards
  • Minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • Work with the culinary leadership team to create seasonal menus
  • Create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients such as chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients
  • Be responsible for the quality of all ingredients used
