Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, some evenings, and adapt to a flexible schedule
  • Capacity to lift, carry and/or transport 40 pounds
  • Full-time employment

Job Qualifications

  • Food and wine knowledge preferred
  • Previous culinary experience
  • Ability to develop new recipes and innovate
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Creativity in menu development

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Create and follow daily prep lists and prepare ingredients for service
  • Cook and plate dishes to order with promptness, consistency, quality, and attention to detail
  • Monitor inventory and ensure adequate stock of ingredients and supplies
  • Assist with menu production and work with GM to train staff on menu items and suggest wine pairings
  • Develop new recipes with creativity
  • Monitor quality, quantity and pricing of all products received and make appropriate decisions or modifications
  • Enforce safe practices of employees
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Manage kitchen waste and support sustainability efforts
  • Ensure optimal food quality and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
