Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a line cook in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting
- knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- understanding of food safety standards
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- physical ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- availability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a line cook in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting preferred
- solid knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- culinary school training or certification is a plus but not required
- must be able to lift 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a hot, fast-moving kitchen environment

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items for à la carte dinner service
- prepare cocktail and lounge service small plates, pupus, appetizers
- prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner banquet events
- prepare daily lunch service for groups and individuals
- follow recipes and presentation standards as directed by the Executive Chef
- set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients
- ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining portion control and quality standards
- collaborate with fellow line cooks, prep cooks, and chefs to ensure smooth service during peak periods
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with DOH and company sanitation guidelines
- assist with inventory rotation, labeling, and storage to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- adapt to special menus, themed events, and banquet service requirements
- support the culinary team in menu tastings, new dish rollouts, and seasonal offerings
